Finally getting over your holiday-spending hangover? Well buckle up, because the sneaker chefs are serving you a 10-course meal this February. Running under the guise of an "All Star Weekend", where the NBA's highest-flying athletes toss orange balls into a cylinder in all sorts of awesome ways, your favorite brands like Yeezy, Jordan, Nike, and adidas, have MAJOR releases lined up. Ranging from confirmed releases to hopeful rumors, we've assembled the hottest shoes we hope to see release in February.
Nike Air Ship x Air Jordan 1 "New Beginnings" Pack- This nostalgic pack treats us to 1984 and 1985 versions of the Air Ship and Jordan 1 styles, respectively. Boasting a special box to house both models, this release is sure to catch collectors' eyes.
Nike SB x Strangelove Skateboards Dunk Low- Another notch in the belt of Nike SB's slated resurgence for 2020 (more on that here), look for these sneakers to release around Valentine's Day. These remind us of strawberry sherbet and that's never a bad thing.
Jordan 1 OG "UNC to Chicago"- Dubbed as a Women's release, these will come in an extended size run to appease the male crowd. What's your opinion on the "3D Glasses" aesthetic?
Jordan 3 "Red Cement"- Part of Nike's "Unite" pack, these Jordan 3s bring some major POP, due in large part to the red leather.
Nike KD 12 "Don C"- Chicago legend Don C lent some of his designing talent to make sure these KDs are as smooth in the streets as KD's signature jumper.
adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Alvah"- This sneaker is further towards the "rumor" end of the spectrum, but Yeezy fans everywhere hope to be treated to what would be the second colorway of the 700 V3. This dark palette would be quite a departure from the previous "Alien" colorway, which we reviewed extensively here.
So there you have it. These are just SOME of the releases planned around the NBA All-Star Weekend and Valentine's Day; which are you looking to cop?
